ELMONT, N.Y. (Oct. 30, 2015) – Unbeaten Mountain Music Man, a New York-bred son of California stallion Bluegrass Cat, won Friday’s $100,000 Awad Stakes for 2-year-olds at Belmont Park.
Mountain Music Man is out of the Unbridled’s Song mare Unbridled Melody. He ran the mile on turf in 1:37.11 and won by 1 ½ lengths. The $450,000 Fasig-Tipton Midlantic 2-Year-Olds in Training purchase has won both career starts with earnings of $102,000.
