VANCOUVER, B.C. (June 28, 2024) — California-bred Mr. Stang won Wednesday’s$51,200 Free Press Stakes at Assiniboia Downs.
Mr. Stang is by Atta Boy Roy, out of the Private Gold mare Special Holiday, was bred by Melvin & Lori Mellick, is owned by Maria Moreno and trained by Carlos Moreno.
Mr. Stang has eight wins in 23 starts, earnings of $175,815 and he ran the six furlongs in 1:11.94, winning by a head at odds of 5-1.
