ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 14, 2025) – Stakes-placed Mystic Spirit, a graduate of the California Thoroughbred Breeders Association January Sale, is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $80,000 Lure Stakes at Santa Anita.
Mystic Spirit is by Danzing Candy, out of the Pure Prize mare Rowdy Gal, was bred by Danuario Ramirez, is owned by Tomas Urbina and trained by Edwin Alvarez.
The $11,000 purchase at the CTBA January Sale from the Rancho San Miguel consignment has three wins in 13 starts, earnings of $161,019 and is coming off a third in the Sept. 13 E.B. Johnston Stakes.
