ALBANY, Calif. (Feb. 13, 2019) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Rey Coliman and fellow California-bred Angelo’s Pride are entered in Saturday’s $100,000 El Camino Real Derby for 3-year-olds at Golden Gate.
Angelo’s Pride is by Lakerville, out of the Game Plan mare Mollie O, was bred by owners Bill Delia, Anthony George & Mike Stone and is trained by Delia. He has two wins in six starts, earnings of $23,686 and is coming off a third in a Jan. 17 starter’s allowance.
Rey Coliman is by For Larned, out of the Singing Saint mare Heavenly Dream, was bred by Richard Barton Enterprises, is owned by Ruben Arechiga or Felix Rondan and is trained by Rondan. The $1,700 Northern California Yearling Sale purchase has one win in seven starts, earnings of $41,418 and is coming off a second in a Jan. 4 optional claimer.
