CLAREMORE, Okla. (Apr. 2, 2020) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Minister of Soul and fellow California-bred Chatterman are entered in Tuesday’s $50,000 Highland Ice Stakes at Will Rogers Downs.
Minister of Soul is by Ministers Wild Cat, out of the Bernstein mare Sensitive Soul, was bred by Dahlberg Farms and is owned by trainer Esteban Martinez. The $16,000 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale has eight wins in 22 starts, earnings of $215,176 and is coming off a Feb. 23 optional claiming win.
Chatterman is by Dixie Chatter, out of the Afternoon Deelites mare Cappuccino Springs, was bred by Robert & Mary Ellen McKee, is owned by George Sharp and trained by Kerri Raven. He has 10 wins in 24 starts, earnings of $94,255 and is coming off consecutive starter’s allowance wins.
