ALBANY, Calif. (Nov. 7, 2020) – Northern California Yearling Sales graduate Camino Del Paraiso, who took 39 starts to score his first stakes victory, won his second stakes in as many starts in Saturday’s $63,050 Joseph T. Grace Stakes at Golden Gate.
Camino Del Paraiso is by Suances, out of the Successful Appeal mare Loni’s Appeal, was bred by Red Baron’s Barn, is owned by Paradise Road Ranch and trained by O.J. Juaregui.
He has seven wins in 40 starts, earnings of 479,542 and was coming off a win in the Sept. 7 Rolling Green. He was second in the Joseph T. Grace last year.
Camino Del Paraiso, a $5,000 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale, ran the 1 1/16 miles on turf in 1:43.30 and won by 3 ½ lengths as the 2-1 favorite.
