PLEASANTON, Calif. (July 4, 2017) – A trio of Northern California Yearling Sale graduates are among the entries in Saturday’s $100,000 Everett Nevin for Golden State Series Eligible 2-year-olds at Oak Tree at Pleasanton.
Jacks Masterpiece is by Smiling Tiger, out of the Candi’s Gold mare Marty’s Zee, was bred by Martin Bach, is owned by Bach, Gitomer or Weiner and is trained by William Morey. He won his lone start June 24 with earnings of $20,280.
Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Holy Yodeler is by Swiss Yodeler, out of the Holy Bull mare Holy Script, was bred by Rozamund Barclay, is owned by Steve Moger and trained by Ed Moger, Jr. The $18,000 Northern California Yearling Sale purchase won his lone start May 20 with earnings of $20,280.
Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Walk On Water is by Tannersmyman, out of the Stormy Atlantic mare Smoke Over Water, was bred by Woodbridge Farm and Jim Eaton and is owned by trainer Steven Miyadi. The $5,500 Northern California Yearling Sale graduate has one win in two starts, earnings of $21,960 and is coming off a June 18 maiden win.
Kimberlea K is the lone filly in the field. She is by Indian Evening, out of the Pure Prize mare No Better Terms, was bred by owner KMN Racing and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer. She won her lone start June 17 with earnings of $20,280.
Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Byebye Mr Swiss is by Swiss Yodeler, out of the Wild Deputy mare Cop a Smoke, was bred by Leigh Ann Howard, is owned by Glen Road Racing or Carina Jauregui and is trained by O.J. Jauregui. The $7,500 Northern California Yearling Sale purchase has one win in two starts, earnings of $9,076 and is coming off a June 4 maiden claiming win.
Unpossible is by Comic Strip, out of the Half Term mare Joyously, was bred by owners Dr. and Mrs. William Gray and is trained by Felix Rondan. He is a maiden making his second start with earnings of $2,028.
Vutzak is by Good Journey, out of the Touch Gold mare Lavender Touch, was bred by owner Gilman Racing and is trained by Andy Mathis. He is a maiden making his debut.
Schulace is by Champ Pegasus, out of the Holy Bull mare Tillie Lou, was bred by owner Richard Barton and is trained by Mike Machowsky. He won his lone start June 2 with earnings of $32,400.
