ALBANY, Calif. (Nov. 20, 2022) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Bet de Vron is one of four California-breds entered in Friday’s $50,000 Golden Gate Debutante Stakes for 2-year-old fillies.
Juana Gallo is by Coach Bob, out of the General Meeting mare Southern Meeting, was bred by Mark Rydman and Holly Rydman, is owned by Arcadio Rivera and is trained by Felix Rondan. She has three wins in five starts, earnings of $61,638 and is coming off a fifth in the Oct. 29 Pike Place Dancer.
Majestic Oops is by Majestic Harbor, out of the Olmodavor mare Miss Oops, was bred by owners William Dory, Sandy Dory, Gary Kropp & Janet Kropp and is trained by ed Moger Jr. She has two wins in four starts, earnings of $59,020 and is coming off back-to-back wins.
Bet de Vron is by Vronsky, out of the Lit de Justice mare Lit de Bet, was bred by Sharon Pasko, is owned by Egon Oyarzun and is trained by Faith Taylor. The $9,500 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale has one win in two starts, earnings of $27,040 and is coming off a maiden win Aug. 12.
Rousing Jewel is by Rousing Sermon, out of the Distorted Humor mare Ribbon of Jewels, was bred by owners Mr. & Mrs. Larry Williams and is trained by Steven Specht. She has one win in three starts, earnings of $33,460 and is coming off a second in a Sept. 23 optional claimer.
