PLEASANTON, Calif. (July 22, 2020) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduates Gardees World and My Father Footsteps are among the entries in Saturday’s $50,000 Everett Nevin Stakes for 2-year-olds at Pleasanton.
Top Harbor is by Harbor the Gold, out of the He’s Tops mare Reba Is Tops, was bred by owners Jarnig, Marshall or Schweiger and is trained by Tim McCanna. He won his lone start June 28 with earnings of $20,280.
Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Gardees World is a filly by Atticus, out of the Broken Vow mare Achnasheals, was bred by Frank Lagatutta, is owned by Gary Marrone and trained by Michael Lenzini. The 2,200 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale won her lone start May 23 with earnings of $23,400.
Northern California Yearling Sale graduate My Father Footstep is by Champ Pegasus, out of the Giacomo mare All Luv Me, was bred by Richard Barton Enterprises, is owned by Andres Rondan and trained by Felix Rondan. The $1,000 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale is a maiden making his second start with earnings of $6,760.
Mando is by idiot Proof, out of the Perfect Mandate mare Dark Mandate and was bred by owner and trainer Andreas Psarras. He has one win in two starts, earnings of $31,200 and is coming off a June 12 maiden win.
Tom’s Song is by Phantom Wildcat, out of the Unbridled’s Song mare Ermine’s Song, was bred by owners Mr. & Mrs. Larry Williams and is trained by Steve Specht. He won his lone start May 24 with earnings of $23,400.
David Nose Best is a Washington-bred son of California stallion Daddy Nose Best, out of the Lemon Drop Kid mare Carrick Bay, was bred by Jan and Keith Swaggerty, is owned by Keith Swaggerty and trained by Leobardo Rivera. He won his lone start July 9 with earnings of $6,050.
