POMONA, Calif. (May 13, 2014) — An $85,000 purchase at Monday’s Barretts May Sale of 2-Year-Olds was a $10,000 pinhook from last year’s Northern California Yearling and Horses of Racing Age Sale.
The chestnut filly, Hip No. 70, is by Majesticperfection, out of the mare Ennui, and was purchased Monday by James Cassidy and was consigned by Wavertree Stables, Inc. (Ciaran Dunne).
As the property of H & E Ranch, the filly sold last year at CTBA’s Northern California Sale at Pleasanton to Adrian Gonzalez as Hip No. 95.
