WASHINGTON, D.C. (Oct. 23, 2014) — NTRA Featured Legislator – U.S. Representative Jim Costa (D-CA)

 

District: California’s 16th in the Central Valley – home to the Big Fresno Fair, part of the California Authority of Racing Fairs.

 

Experience: Rep. Costa was first elected to Congress in 2004 and is serving his 5th term in the House of Representatives. He is up for re-election in 2014.

 

Key Committee: Rep. Costa serves on the House Agriculture Committee.

 

Rep. Jim Costa recently visited Santa Anita Park and spent part of the day with trainer Carla Gaines and owner/breeder John Harris.
