Princess Vivian Upsets Bear Fan Stakes

ALBANY, Calif. (Dec. 14, 2019) – Longshot Princess Vivian held off the late rally by odds-on favorite Apache Princess to win Saturday’s $75,000 Bear Fan Stakes for Golden State Series-eligible fillies and mares at Golden Gate.

A 21-1 shot, Princess Vivian is by Uh Oh Bango, out of the Macho Uno mare Seductive Charm, was bred by MNM Thoroughbreds, is owned by MNM Thoroughbreds, Mary MacDonald, Tom Marsh and Henry Mendoza and is trained by Sergio Ledezma.

Princess Vivian, a 3-year-old filly, has three wins in six starts and earnings of $107,634 after winning her stakes debut. Ima Happy Cat was third in the field of seven.
