ALBANY, Calif. (Nov. 16, 2022) – Harris Farms Stakes winner Psycho Dar and multiple stakes winner Top Harbor are among the California-breds entered in Saturday’s $50,000 Oakland Stakes at Golden Gate.
Top Harbor is by Harbor the Gold, out of the He’s Tops mare Reba Is Tops, was bred by owners Eric Schweiger, Gordy Jarnig & Kenny Marshall and trained by Tim McCanna. He has four wins in 12 starts, earnings of $202,024 and is coming off a second in the Oct. 2 Harris Farms
Irrefutable is by Big Bad Leroybrown, out of the Poteen mare Seasontoperfection, was bred by Old English Rancho, is owned by Anthony Pescetti and trained by Michael Lenzini. He has six wins in 18 starts, earnings of $132,222 and is coming off a second in a Sept. 2 optional claimer.
Psycho Dar is by Storm Wolf, out of the Maria’s Mon mare Stormin Mon, was bred by Liberty Road Stables, is owned by Mary Tucker and trained by Samuel Calvario. He has 10 wins in 38 starts, earnings of $446,266 and is coming off a win in the Oct. 8 Harris Farms.
War Games is by Cyclotron, out of the One Man Army mare Myra G, was bred by Bruce Headley, is owned by Barbara DeLima and trained by Cliff DeLima. He has eight wins in 21 starts, earnings of $205,982 and is coming off a win in an Aug. 13 allowance.
Stakes winner Cool Mountain Lad is by Unionize, out of the Stormin Fever mare Honeysuckle Rose, was bred by Francis O’Leary, is owned by Lordan, O’Leary and Powers and is trained by Victor Trujillo. He has seven wins in 19 starts, earnings of $213,874 and is coming off a sixth in the Oct. 8 Harris Farms.
