ARCADIA, Calif. (Apr. 20, 2017) – Richard’s Boy, who last ran in Dubai, joins fellow California-breds Ambitious Brew and Eddie Haskell in Sunday’s $75,000 Siren Lure Stakes at Santa Anita.
Richard’s Boy is by Idiot Proof, out of the Cee’s Tizzy mare Marissa’s Joy, was bred by Harold and Pamela Tillema, is owned by Rockingham Ranch and trained by Peter Miller. He has eight wins in 21 starts, earnings of $586,080 and is coming off a fifth in the Mar. 25 Al Quoz Sprint in Dubai.
Ambitious Brew is by Tizbud, out of the Forest Wildcat mare Kathwen, was bred by owner Pamela Ziebarth and is trained by Mary Jones. He has eight wins in 22 starts, earnings of $559,225 and is coming off a win in the Feb. 25 Sensational Star.
Eddie Haskell is by Square Eddie, out of the Boston Harbor mare Teresa Ann, was bred by owner Reddam Racing and is trained by Doug O’Neill. He has three wins in nine starts, earnings of $133,923 and is coming off a third in an Apr. 2 optional claimer.
