ARCADIA, Calif. (Dec. 25, 2024) – California-sired Sabertooth and California-bred King of Dragons are entered in Sunday’s $100,000 Eddie Logan Stakes at Santa Anita.
Graded-stakes placed Sabertooth is a Maryland-bred by California sire Grazen, out of the Johannesburg mare Hard to Resist, was bred by 2500 Determined Stud, is owned by George Sharp and trained by Tim Yakteen, He has a maiden, making his seventh start with earnings of $81,300 and is coming off a second in a Nov. 29 maiden special weight.
King of Dragons is by Sir Prancealot, out of the Eskenderaya mare Zendreya, was bred by owner Cicero Farms and is trained by Richard Baltas. He has one win in three starts, earnings of $47,700 and is coming off a Nov. 29 maiden win.
