DEL MAR, Calif. (Aug. 14, 2014) – Stakes winner Sagebrush Queen is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday’s $150,000 Grade III Rancho Bernardo Handicap for fillies and mares at Del Mar.
Sagebrush Queen is by Unbridled Energy, out of the Tough Knight mare Nite Moon, was bred by Oak Hill Farm, is owned by Larry Konecne and Sandi Mattei and is trained by Jorge Gutierrez.
She has four wins in 10 starts, earnings of $213,770 and is coming off a third in the July 12 Great Lady M Stakes.
