ARCADIA, Calif. (Mar. 17, 2019) — Pending approval by the California Horse Racing Board for Santa Anita Park to reopen March 29, several stakes at the racetrack have been rescheduled.
- Irish O’Brien Stakes, for California-bred and California-sired older fillies and mares at about 6 1/2 furlongs down the hillside turf course, March 31 (rescheduled from March 17)
- Sensational Star Stakes, for California-breds and California-sired older runners at about 6 1/2 furlongs down the hillside turf course, March 31 (rescheduled from March 24)
- Beholder Stakes (G1), for older fillies and mares at a mile on the dirt, March 30 (rescheduled from March 16 and March 23)
- San Carlos Stakes (G2), for older runners at seven furlongs on the dirt, March 30 (rescheduled from March 9 and March 23)
- San Simeon Stakes (G3T), for older runners at about 6 1/2 furlongs on the turf, March 30 (rescheduled from March 16 and March 22)
- Frank E. Kilroe Mile (G1T), for 4-year-olds and up at a mile on the turf, remains on March 30 (rescheduled from March 9)
- Santa Ana Stakes (G2T), for older fillies and mares at 1 1/4 miles on the turf, remains on March 30 (as originally scheduled)
- Santana Mile, for 4-year-olds and up and a mile on the dirt, remains on March 31 (as originally scheduled)
