ARCADIA, Calif. (June 11, 2025) — Snow Chief Stakes winner Santa Barbarian is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday’s $100,000 Grade III San Juan Capistrano Stakes at Santa Anita.
Santa Barbarian is by Bodexpress, out of the Storm Victory mare Ebony Cat, was bred by owner Richard Barton Enterprises and is trained by Ryan Hanson.
He has two wins in five starts, earnings of $113,260 and is coming off a win in the Snow Chief Stakes, presented by City National Bank.
