ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 24, 2014) – California stallion Sapphire Cat was represented by his first winner when Lindante won the sixth race at Santa Anita, an open maiden special weight, Friday.
Lindante is out of the Dixie Union mare Sav Blanc, was bred by owner John Antonelli and was trained by Jerry Fanning.
He has one win in five starts with earnings of $54,260 and he ran the about 6 ½ furlongs on turf in 1:13.13, winning by three-quarters of a length at odds of $12.50-1.
