ARCADIA, Calif. (June 17, 2015) – Sheer Pleasure is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade II Summertime Oaks for 3-year-old fillies at Santa Anita.
Sheer Pleasure is by Birdonthewire, out of the Blare of Trumpets mare Kathryns Birthday, was bred by Madera Thoroughbreds, is owned by Little Red Feather Racing and R/M Racing and is trained by Phil D’Amato.
She has three wins in five starts, earnings of $257,450 and is coming off consecutive wins in the Melair and Evening Jewel Stakes.
