YORK, U.K. (Aug. 24, 2024) – Group II winner Sir Busker, an Irish-bred son of California stallion Sir Prancealot, won Saturday’s $100,000 Sky Bet Finale Handicap at York Race Course.
Sir Busker, an 8-year-old gelding out of the Tiger Hill mare Street Kitty, has seven wins in 51 starts with earnings of $827,101.
He won by one length at odds of 14-1 in a field of 17, running the 1 5/16 miles in 2:10.21. It was his first win in more than two years.
