ARCADIA, Calif. (Jan. 11, 2023) – California-bred Smoothlikebuttah, who hit the board in each of her last 12 starts, is entered in Sunday’s 200,000 Grade III La Canada Stakes for fillies and mares at Santa Anita. The race was rescheduled from Saturday.
Smoothlikebuttah is by Mr. Big, out of the Five Star Day mare Eight Daughters, was bred by NP Thoroughbreds, is owned by Robert Bach and William Tessar and trained by Steve Knapp.
She has two wins in 35 starts, earnings of $292,620 and is coming off a second in a Dec. 2 optional claimer
