SHELBYVILLE, Ind. (July 11, 2019) – Multiple graded stakes winner Solid Wager, who broke his maiden six years ago at Hollywood Park, is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $100,000 Michael G. Schaefer Memorial Stakes at Indiana Grand.
Solid Wager is by Birdonthewire, out of the Valid Wager mare G Ma, was bred by Madera Thoroughbreds, is owned by David Staudacher and trained by Michael Maker.
He has 11 wins in 53 starts, earnings of $852,150 and is coming off a fourth in a June 23 optional claimer.
