ALTOONA, Iowa (Oct. 2, 2023) – Longshot Rockin the Dad Bod, an Iowa-bred son of California stallion Dads Caps, won Saturday night’s $100,000 Iowa Breeders’ Derby for 3-year-olds at Prairie Meadows.
Rockin the Dad Bod, out of the Crowd Pleaser mare Cagey Girl, has three wins in 13 starts and earnings of $141,599.
He ran the 1 1/16 miles in 1:45.30 and won by a head at odds of 51-1.
