ELMONT, N.Y. (July 1, 2015) – Grade I winner Spanish Queen is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $1 million Grade I Belmont Oaks Invitational for 3-year-old fillies at Belmont Park.
Spanish Queen is by Tribal Rule, out of the Unusual Heat mare Spanish Bunny, was bred by Jack Nakkashian, Harry Bederian & Harout Kamberian, is owned by Nakkashian and trained by Richard Baltas.
She has three wins in four starts, earnings of $423,600 and is coming off a win in the May 30 American Oaks.
