LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 25, 2020) – Two-time California-bred Horse of the Year Spiced Perfection and fellow Cal-bred stakes winner Sneaking Out are entered in Saturday’s $100,000 Grade III Winning Colors Stakes at Churchill Downs.
Multiple Grade I winner Spiced Perfection is by Smiling Tiger, out of the Pleasantly Perfect mare Perfect Feat, was bred by Premier Thoroughbreds, is owned by Haruya Yoshida and is trained by Mark Casse. She has nine wins in 21 starts, earnings of $1,223,705 and is coming off a fourth in the Jan. 25 Inside Information.
Sneaking out is by Indian Evening, out of the Kitten’s Joy mare Maddie’s Odyssey, was bred by owner KMN Racing and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer. She has four wins in nine starts, earnings of $308,531 and is coming off an Apr. 25 allowance win.
