EDMONTON, Alberta (July 17, 2024) – California-bred even-money favorite Spitten Kitten added to her dominating record with a wire-to-wire win in Tuesday night’s $51,000 Canada Stakes for fillies and mares at Assiniboia Downs.
Spitten Kitten is by Air Force Blue, out of the Kitten’s Joy mare Zahrah, was bred by Richard Barton Enterprises and is owned by trainer Marvin Buffalo, Deb Buffalo and Arnold Soustar.
Spitten Kitten has seven wins in 12 starts and earnings of $129,072. Five of her seven wins are in stakes.
She ran the 7 ½ furlongs in 1:33.58 and won by four lengths in a field of nine.
