LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 5, 2014) – Spring Awakening, a California-bred broodmare, sold for $500,000 at Wednesday’s session of the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale.
Spring Awakening is by In Excess, out of the Carson City mare Catchofthecentury, was consigned by Brookdale Sales, agent, and purchased by Three Chimneys Farm.
Spring Awakening sold in foal to Orb. She has produced the stakes winner Walk Close. On the track, Spring Awakening was a multiple stakes winner of $258,178.
