Stakes-winning Cal-bred Trio Enters Pasadena

ARCADIA, Calif. (Feb. 17, 2026) – Graded winner Unrivaled Time and fellow California-bred stakes winners Smoovin Saturday and Sammy Davis are entered in Sunday’s $100,000 Pasadena Stakes for 3-year-olds at Santa Anita.

Smoovin Saturday is by I’ll Have Another, out of the Square Eddie mare Smoove It, was bred by owner Reddam Racing and is trained by Michael McCarthy. He has two wins in three starts, earnings of $101,250 and is coming off a fifth in the Jan. 17 California Chrome Cal Cup Derby.

Sammy Davis is by Sir Prancealot, out of the More Than Ready mare Ready for Romance, was bred by Thomas Bachman, is owned by Legacy Ranch and trained by John Sadler. He has two wins in five starts, earnings of $175,500 and is coming off a second in the Jan. 17 California Chrome Cal Cup Derby.

Unrivaled Time is by Not This Time, out of the Creachadoir mare Margot Machance, was bred by Alfred Pais, is owned by Innergy Racing Corp and Pais and is trained by Leonard Powell. He has two wins in four starts, earnings of $109,600 and is coming off a third in the Jan. 8 Eddie Logan.
