ALBANY, Calif. (Mar. 15, 2023) – Stakes winners Ward ‘n Jerry, Jimmy Blue Jeans and American Farmer are among the five entries in Saturday’s $75,000 McCann’s Mojave Stakes for Golden State Series eligibles at Golden Gate.

Stakes winner Jimmy Blue Jeans is by James Street, out of the Marino Marini mare Blue Blizzard, was bred by Perry Bruno & John Gezon, is owned by Bruno, Gezon and Robert Jones and is trained by Andy Mathis. He has five wins in 16 starts, earnings of $260,948 and is coming off a seventh in the Feb. 18 El Dorado Shooter.
Crazy Dreams is by Gallant Son, out of the Sought After mare Carolina Grande, was bred by Daehling Ranch, is owned by Patrick Brogan and trained by Isidro Tamayo. He has four wins in 12 starts, earnings of $130,378 and is coming off a Feb. 19 allowance win.
