AUBURN, Wash. (Sept. 17, 2023) – Multiple stakes winners Blazingbellablu and Slew’s Tiz Whiz, Washington-breds by California stallions Grazen and Slew’s Tiznow, won a pair of Sunday stakes at Emerald Downs.
Blazingbellablu, a 5-year-old Grazen mare out of the Sky Mesa mare Bellomesa, won the $50,000 1/ST BET Washington Cup Filly & Mare Stakes, presented by Pegasus Training and Rehabilitation Center.
Blazingbellablu ran the 1 1/16 miles in 1:43.60 and won by a neck at odds of 6-5 in a field of seven. She has eight wins in 22 starts and earnings of 293,061.
Slew’s Tiz Whiz, a 5-year-old gelded son of Slew’s Tiznow out of the Rosberg mare Ros’s Girl, won the $50,000 Muckleshoot Tribal Classic Stakes, presented by Pegasus Training and Rehabilitation Center.
Slew’s Tiz Whiz ran the 1 1/16 miles in 1:42.90 and won by three lengths as the 1-20 favorite in a field of seven. He has eight wins in 19 starts and earnings of $268,357.
