NEW ORLEANS, La. (Dec. 16, 2023) – Swift as I Am is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $100,000 Richard R. Scherer Memorial Stakes at Fair Grounds.
Swift as I Am is by Danza, out of the Artie Schiller mare As I Am, was bred by Richard Barton Enterprises, is owned by Joel Hunsburger and trained by Tanner Tracy.
He has four wins in 14 starts, earnings of $114,510 and is coming off a fourth in the Nov. 23 Thanksgiving Classic.
