ALBANY, Calif. (Sept. 2, 2016) – Grade I winner Tamarando is the lone California-bred entered in Monday’s $50,000 Rolling Green Stakes at Golden Gate.
Tamarando is by Bertrando, out of the Dehere mare Tamarack Bay, was bred by owners Mr. and Mrs. Larry Williams and is trained by Jeff Bonde.
He has four wins in 27 starts, earnings of $695,278 and is coming off a fourth in the Aug. 7 Joseph T. Grace, but has gone 17 races and 2 ½ years since last winning.
