PHOENIX, Ariz. (Nov. 5, 2021) – California-bred multiple graded stakes winner The Chosen Vron came off a three-month layoff to win Friday’s $60,000 Hank Mills Sr. Stakes at Turf Paradise.
The Chosen Vron is by Vronsky, out of the Tiz Wonderful mare Tiz Molly, was bred by Tiz Molly Partners, is owned by J. Eric Kruljac, Robert Fetkin, John Sondereker and Richard Thornburgh and is trained by Kruljac.
He has five wins in seven starts and earnings of $340,678. He ran the 6 ½ furlongs in 1:24.74 and won by one-half length as the 6-5 second-choice. Fellow Cal-bred stakes winner Minister of Soul, the even-money favorite, was second.
