DEL MAR, Calif. (Aug. 4, 2021) – Stakes winner Thirsty Always and fellow California-bred Finneus, both sons of Stay Thirsty, are entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade II Best Pal Stakes for 2-year-olds at Del Mar.
Thirsty Always is by Stay Thirsty, out of the Not For Love mare Angela’s Love, was bred by Terry Lovingier, is owned by Lovingier, Beckerle or Carrillo and is trained by Walther Solis. He has won both starts with earnings of $81,600 and is coming off a win in the July 10 Everett Nevin.
Finneus is by Stay Thirsty, out of the Ghostzapper mare My Fiona, was bred by Terry Lovingier, is owned by Lovingier, Fasihuddin or Navarro and is trained by Walther Solis. He has one win in two starts, earnings of $46,116 and is coming off a June 13 maiden win.
