PLEASANTON, Calif. (July 1, 2020) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Touched by Autism and fellow California-bred Detangler are entered in Saturday’s $50,000 Oak Tree Sprint at Pleasanton.
Stakes winner Touched by Autism is by Sierra Sunset, out of the Beau Genius mare Beau’s Gem, was bred by George and Mary Clare Schmitt, is owned by Johnny Toboada and trained by Marcia Stortz. The $2,700 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale has eight wins in 33 starts, earnings of $300,246 and is making his first start since a second in this race last year.
Detangler is by Gig Harbor, out of the Lahooq mare Crème Rinse, was bred by owners Terri Eaton & J. H. Gibson and is trained by Eaton. He has three wins in 30 starts, earnings of $119,183 and is coming off a fourth in a June 7 allowance.
