As a young man, Randy attended Miami Military Academy high school, graduating 2nd highest in his class and went on to attend the University of Miami, while apprenticing with his dad. Randy was an avid surfer enjoying the water and outdoors as much as he could. He loved all sports and was particularly loyal to his Chicago Cubs, Miami Dolphins, LA Lakers and Miami Heat. Randy was valedictorian of his family’s wit and sense of humor. His incredible memory was instrumental in the family’s accumulating vast records on his father’s legacy that has made Arnold currently eligible for the historical division of the Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame.
Randy leaves behind his loving and dedicated daughter, Tierney Rae Winick, caring sister, Stacey Winick, her partner David Merrell and his dear cousins Denise Wickersham and husband, Rick Wickersham. Services will be private. The family asks that any donations on Randy’s behalf please be made to Accent Care Hospice Inpatient Unit, 3600 Washington St., Hollywood, FL 33021.
