Portando is a Kentucky bred by California stallion Bertrando, out of the Choisir mare Porto Marmay, was bred by Liberty Road Stables, is owned by Eclipse Thoroughbreds and is trained by Michael McCarthy. He has six wins in 22 starts, earnings of $275,650 and is coming off a May 12 allowance win.
Tribal Storm is by Papa Clem, out of the Tribal Rule mare Tribal Feathers, was bred by Curt & Lila Lanning, is owned by Scott Herbertson and trained by Ari Herbertson. He has six wins in 16 starts, earnings of $291,049 and is coming off a win in a May 18 allowance.
