ALBANY, Calif. (Apr. 27, 2022) – California-bred stakes winners Ultimate Bango and Bettor Trip Nick are entered in Saturday’s $75,000 Lost in the Fog Stakes at Golden Gate.

Ultimate Bango is by Uh Oh Bango, out of the Cee’s Tizzy mare Ultimate Summer, was bred by Mitchell Dutko & Bob Abrams, is owned by Mary Tucker and trained by Samuel Calvario. He has five wins in 26 starts, earnings of $351,159 and is coming off a third in an Apr. 1 claimer.

Murphys Tiger is by Smiling Tiger, out of the You and I mare Youtheprizeandi, was bred by owner Jethorse and is trained by Tim McCanna. He has three wins in five starts, earnings of $51,476 and is coming off an Apr. 3 allowance win.

Bettor Trip Nick is by Boat Trip, out of the In Excess mare Bettor Knot, was bred by Running Horse Equine Training Center, is owned by Gary Oetman and Ray Pagano and is trained by Jonathan Wong. He has seven wins in 17 starts, earnings of $271,630 and is coming off a win in the Feb. 19 El Dorado Shooter Stakes. He was seventh in this race last year.

Cool Mountain Lad is by Unionize, out of the Stormin Fever mare Honeysuckle Rose, was bred by Francis O’Leary, is owned by William Lordan, Timothy O’Leary and Larry Powers and is trained by Victor Trujillo.
