DEL MAR, Calif. (Sept. 6, 2015) — Multiple stakes winner Uzziel burst into the lead at the top of the stretch and drew away to win the $84,750 C.E.R.F. Stakes for fillies and mares at Del Mar.
Uzziel is by Harlington, out of the Lord At War mare Pretti Woman, was bred by owners James and Tammy McKenney and is trained by J.K. Desormeaux.
She has five wins in 18 starts, earnings of $317,488 and was coming off a third in the Aug. 16 Rancho Bernardo.
Uzziel ran the six furlongs in 1:09.08 and won by 4 1/4 lengths at odds of 7-1.
