CYPRESS, Calif. (July 10, 2014) — Stakes winner Wake Up Nick and fellow California-bred Peradventure are entered in Sunday’s $100,000 Willard L. Proctor Memorial Stakes for 2-year-olds at Los Alamitos.
Wake Up Nick is by Cindago, out of the Lion Hearted mare Storm Hearted, was bred by Lee and Susan Searing, is owned by Reddam Racing and trained by Doug O’Neill. He is unbeaten in two starts, with earnings of $108,600 and is coming off a win in the June 22 Santa Anita Juvenile Stakes.
Peradventure is by Papa Clem, out of the Boundary mare Holiday Sale, was bred by jack and Barbara Hatch Revocable Living Trust, is owned by CTR Stables and trained by Scott Rollins. He won his lone start June 27 with earnings of $33,600.
