ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (July 29, 2014) – Defending champion Warren’s Knockout and fellow California-breds Two Scotch Blues and Tannersmymuscle are entered in Saturday’s $50,000 Budweiser Special Stakes at Albuquerque.
Warren’s Knockout is by Stormed, out of the Doneraile Court mare Now My Precious, was bred by Benjamin Warren, is owned by Len Schermer and trained by Justin Evans. He has 10 wins in 34 starts, earnings of $415,757 and is coming off a second in a June 2 allowance. He won this race last year.
Two Scotch Blues is by Ministers Wild Cat, out of the Street Cry mare Street Party, was bred by Tommy Town Thoroughbreds, is owned by Jay Rader and trained by Betty Rader. He has four wins in 15 starts, earnings of $33,731 and is coming off a May 18 claiming win.
Tannersmymuscle is by Tannersmyman, out of the Top Account mare Get the Money, was bred by Jim Eaton, is owned by Kings River Ranch and trained by J. Eric Kruljac. He has three wins in five starts, earnings of $26,723 and has a three-race win streak.
