Warren’s Knockout Seeks Repeat

SUNLAND PARK, N.M. (Mar. 18, 2015) – Defending champion Warren’s Knockout and fellow California-bred Omar are entered in Sunday’s $100,000 Bill Thomas Memorial Stakes at Sunland Park.

Warren’s Knockout is by Stormed, out of the Doneraile Court mare Now My Precious, was bred by Benjamin Warren, is owned by Len Schermer and trained by Justin Evans. He has 10 wins in 36 starts, earnings of $428,757 and is coming off a fourth in the Sept. 7 Premier Cup. He won this race last year and was second in 2013.

Omar is by Bertrando, out of the Beau Genius mare Perfect Doll, was bred by Omar Aldabbagh, is owned by Randy Exelby, Running Rabbit, Rick and TG Racing and is trained by Robertino Diodoro. He has eight wins in 24 starts, earnings of $148,017 and is coming off a third in the Feb. 14 Phoenix Gold Cup.
