ARCADIA, Calif. (Mar. 4, 2020) – California Cup Oaks winner Warren’s Showtime is one of four California-breds entered in Saturday’s $75,000 China Doll Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Santa Anita.
Bella Vita is by Bayern, out of the Storm Cat mare Queenie Cat, was bred by Hill ‘n’ Dale Equine Holdings, is owned by Kaleem Shah and is trained by Simon Callaghan. She has one win in two starts, earnings of $44,000 and is coming off a Feb. 16 maiden win.
CTBA January Sale graduate Sherilinda is by Circumference, out of the In Excess mare Rouge in Excess, was bred by Megan Stiehr, is owned by Decker Racing and trained by George Papaprodromou. The $2,500 purchase at the CTBA January Sale won her lone start Feb. 8 with earnings of $23,400.
Homehome is by Square Eddie, out of the Ten Most Wanted mare Silar Rules, was bred by owner Reddam Racing and is trained by Doug O’Neill. She has two wins in five starts, earnings of $72,551 and is coming off a Feb. 7 optional claiming win.
Warren’s Showtime is by Clubhouse Ride, out of the Affirmative mare Warren’s Veneda, was bred by Benjamin Warren, is owned by Benjamin & Sally Warren and is trained by Craig Lewis. She has three wins in six starts, earnings of $236,271 and is coming off a win in the Jan. 18 California Cup Oaks.
