LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 26, 2015) – Grade I winner Warren’s Veneda is the lone California-bred entered in Friday’s $2 million Grade I Breeders’ Cup Longines Distaff for fillies and mares at Keeneland.
Warren’s Veneda is by Affirmative, out of the Flying Continental mare More Cal Bread, was bred by owner Benjamin Warren and is trained by Craig Lewis.
She has eight wins in 27 starts, earnings of $931,862 and is coming off a seventh in the Sept. 26 Zenyatta. She is a Grade I winner and drew post position 13 in a field of 14 with morning line odds of 30-1.
