DEL MAR, Calif. (Nov. 4, 2014) – Stakes winner Warren’s Veneda and fellow California-bred Kathleen Rose are entered in Friday’s $75,000 Kathryn Crosby Stakes for fillies and mares at Del Mar.
Warren’s Veneda is by Affirmative, out of the Flying Continental mare More Cal Bread, was bred by owner Benjamin Warren and is trained by Craig Lewis. She has five wins in 17 starts, earnings of $355,012 and is coming off a sixth in the Oct. 11 California Distaff.
Kathleen Rose is by Good Journey, out of the Decarchy mare Cantina’s Rose, was bred by owner B&B Zietz Stables and is trained by Michael Machowsky. She has five wins in 12 starts, earnings of $309,520 and is coming off a second in the Oct. 4 Swingtime Stakes.
