ARCADIA, Calif. (May 16, 2014) — Warren’s Veneda is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday’s $100,000 Grade III Adoration Stakes for fillies and mares at Santa Anita.
Warren’s Veneda is by Affirmative, out of the Flying Continental mare More Cal Bread, was bred by owner Benjamin Warren and is trained by Craig Lewis.
She has five wins in 12 starts, earnings of $315,064 and is coming off a third in the Apr. 26 Spring Fever Stakes.
Also entered is Let Faith Arise, a Kentucky-bred daughter of California stallion Kafwain, bred by owners Tommy Town Thoroughbreds, with five wins in 11 starts, and earnings of $410,240.
