DEL MAR, Calif. (July 29, 2015) – Grade I winner Warren’s Veneda and fellow California-bred My Monet are entered in Saturday’s $300,000 Grade I Clement L. Hirsch Hirsch Stakes for fillies and mares at Del Mar.
Warren’s Veneda is by Affirmative, out of the Flying Continental mare No Cal Bread, was bred by owner Benjamin Warren and is trained by Craig Lewis. She has eight wins in 25 starts, earnings of $895,612 and is coming off a fourth in the July 11 Great Lady M.
My Monet is by Decarchy, out of the Lord Avie mare Madam, was bred by Ridgeley Farm, is owned by KM Racing Enterprises and is trained by Ricky Agarie. She has five wins in 15 starts, earnings of $238,788 and is coming off a second in the July 18 Osunitas.
