ARCADIA, Calif. (Dec. 31, 2025) — Santa Anita canceled its scheduled racing cards for Wednesday and Thursday because of an expected storm, the track announced Wednesday morning.
The Wednesday card had been added when a previous storm disrupted last week’s schedule that forced the delay of Opening Day from Friday to Sunday. Wednesday’s card would have featured the $100,000 Eddie Logan Stakes, with stakes winner Unrivaled Time and fellow California-bred Third Beer among the entries.
The track announced that it has added a makeup card for Thursday, January 8.
