ARCADIA, Calif. (Mar. 7, 2018) – What a View, who won the race two years ago, is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $400,000 Grade I Frank E. Kilroe Mile Stakes at Santa Anita.
What a View is by Vronsky, out of the Manila mare Oceans N Mountains, was bred by Old Rnglish Rancho, Patsy Berumen & Sal Berumen, is owned by Finish Line Racing, Ellwood Johnston Trust or T.O.V. Stables and is trained by Kenny Black.
He has seven wins in 22 starts, earnings of $825,016 and is coming off a sixth in the Feb. 24 Daytona Stakes. He was second in this race last year and won the race in 2016.
